The Famous Five, a cherished bowtop gypsy caravan once featured in the TV series of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five, is tucked away in a secluded cider apple orchard overlooking the stunning Somerset Levels. This cozy retreat sleeps two in a traditional double bed, with additional space beneath for a young child.
Adjacent to the caravan, nestled within the same orchard, is Willow, a vintage caravan equipped with modern amenities including a gas cooker, oven, fridge, and extra seating or sleeping space. An open fire outside offers a charming option for cooking and evening relaxation.

What Do You Get?
At our glamping site, we ensure your comfort and convenience. Bed linen, utensils, crockery, and cutlery are all provided. Your private bathroom, located in a traditional shepherd’s hut, includes a shower and a basin, all equipped with hot water. Additionally, a sink for washing up is available. A toilet is conveniently located in the same orchard.

Staying in the Famous Five caravan offers a serene retreat with abundant peace, time, and space to relax and unwind.
Family and Pet-Friendly Accommodations
We warmly welcome families with children. Younger children, typically under 8 years old (depending on size), can snugly curl up under the main bed in the wagon. Older children can either sleep in ‘Willow,’ our vintage caravan, or camp out in a tent. While we do allow dogs, we kindly request that arrangements be made with Emily in advance, and please note that dogs are not permitted inside the gypsy wagons but are welcome in the caravans.
